Under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer, plan, direct, organize, and conduct all Family Center programs and activities; oversee fundraising and the development and administration of grants and contracts; ensure the engagement of students, volunteers, and parents in Family Center programs and activities; communicate and collaborate with all necessary stakeholders to leverage resources and coordinate activities and programs; coordinate and collaborate with site and District personnel to implement all Family Center sponsored grants, projects, and activities; supervise all Family Center staff; manage program evaluation and data collection; participate in Teaching and Learning initiatives as needed.


  • Plan, organize, coordinate and direct Family Center programs and activities;including 21stCCLC after school and summer programs, academic interventions, enrichment activities, youth development, services to families, and parent and community engagement
  • Direct and coordinate the work of the site-based Family services Assistants
  • Supervision and evaluation of all Family Center managers and staff
  • Provide staff development for Family Center staff
  • Collaborate and coordinate with sites to oversee grant funded services, academic interventions, and enrichment activities, and ensure grant deliverables are met
  • Work with stakeholders including partner agencies, parents and guardians, students, and community members to plan and implement the work of the Family Center
  • Plan, coordinate and lead community engagement activities
  • Plan, direct, coordinate and oversee the operation of a family resource center
  • Work closely with Family Center partners to leverage and coordinate services for students and families
  • Develop and oversee data collection for various grants and projects
  • Organize, compile, and analyze data collected for state, federal, or grant reporting purposes
  • Develop, administer, and monitor all Family Center budgets
  • Coordinate ongoing fund development
  • Prepare necessary reports and presentation materials
  • Operate a variety of office equipment including a computer and specialized software including desktop publishing, charts and graphics, word processing and spreadsheets
  • Perform related duties as assigned

  • Any combination equivalent to: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and five years of related experience
